Hey all, just wanted to start a thread for anyone who's ever wondered how computers actually work. I mean, we use 'em every day, but how many of us really understand the basics? I'm gonna break down the fundamentals and explain in a way that's easy to grasp, even for those who don't code.

I've been reading through this thread, and I gotta say, @TechNewbie, your explanation of binary is fire. One thing I'd add is understanding how circuits work; it's like learning a secret language. Once you grasp that, you'll be able to visualize how code translates into machine language.

"Nice thread, OP! I think it's essential to break down the concept of binary code for newbies. It's pretty straightforward once you grasp the 0s and 1s, after that, it's all about understanding how they're translated into machine code."
