"Hey all, I've been debating with some friends about whether CPU mining is still worth doing or if GPUs have taken over entirely. With the rise of more efficient mining algorithms and newer GPU tech, I think CPUs might be a thing of the past. Thoughts?"

"GPU's are still the way to go for me in 2024. Unless you're running a massive rig with high-end GPUs, the extra power consumption and heat just aren't worth it for a CPU setup. I've been seeing some nice returns from my AMD 6900 XT rig lately."

"Y'all, I'm still running on GPU with my RX 6900 XT, and while I'm not getting the best returns anymore, it's still the best bang for my buck (or rather, my electrical bill). I'm waiting for the newer, more efficient mining cards to drop before upgrading. Has anyone heard anything about the rumored NVIDIA LHR 4090 mining card?"

"Honestly, it's all about the ROI bro. If you're on a tight budget, CPU mining is still a solid choice, but if you can afford it, a well-spec'd GPU rig is where it's at. I'm seeing some crazy profits with my 3080 Ti setup."

"Dude, you're asking the right question. GPU mining is still the way to go, at least for now. I've seen my rig's hash rate skyrocket since switching to a 3080 Ti, and the power efficiency is a game-changer."

"Dude, GPU mining still holds the crown for now, especially with the advancements in hashrate. CPUs just can't compete with the power and efficiency of a good GPU, even with the latest Ryzen and Intel chips. Still, it's interesting to see how things will play out in 2024."
