Hey folks, I've been digging into Bitrated and wondering if it can actually give us real buyer protection on Bitcoin purchases. Anyone tried it or got solid info on how it works? Let's break down the pros and cons together.

I think Bitrated has a solid concept, but their execution is still a bit shaky. Their verification process is way too time-consuming, and you gotta wonder if some of their 'verified' users aren't actually just shills trying to get an air of legitimacy.

I've been following Bitrated for a while now and I gotta say, their model seems solid. The escrow service is a game-changer, it's not just about protecting buyers, it's also about protecting sellers from getting scammed, which is pretty much every day on the dark web and other shady markets.

I'm not convinced by Bitrated just yet, their fees are pretty steep and it's still early days for them - I'm keeping an eye on it but I'd like to see some more adoption and usage before I take the plunge. That being said, if they can deliver on their promise of real buyer protection then it could be a game changer for the space.

I think Bitrated is definitely a step in the right direction but it's gonna take a lot more adoption and standardization before we can trust it as a real player in buyer protection. Their escrow service is solid, but it still relies on user discretion and good faith which can be a major flaw. We need something more automated and decentralized to really bring buyer protection to the next level.

I've been following Bitrated for a while now and I think they're on the right track, their reputation system could be a game changer for buyer protection. The fact that they're using real identities and escrow services makes me feel way more comfortable making larger transactions. Still gotta see how it plays out in practice tho

I've been following Bitrated for a while now and think it's a step in the right direction, but we still need to see more users and a robust escrow system to make it truly effective. Their focus on community-driven ratings is also a big plus, as it helps weed out scammy merchants over time.
