"Hey fellow devs, I'm looking to build a web app from the ground up and I'm torn between using a framework like Laravel for PHP or going full-stack with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Has anyone had any experience building a complex app using vanilla technologies? How did it turn out?"

"Love the title, OP! You're right, there's no 'magic' when it comes to building a robust web app. Can't wait to see more of your journey and any tips you've got to share"

"Hey all, I've worked on a few web apps in the past and I gotta say, PHP's still a beast when it comes to backend dev. Has anyone tried using Laravel for the PHP framework? I've heard great things about its performance and scalability."

"Dude, I've been following this series and I gotta say, the simplicity of the examples is making it super accessible to beginners. Just wondering, has anyone managed to integrate a payment gateway into the example app from one of the previous videos? That's the next step I'm planning to tackle."

"Hey OP, I've worked on a few web projects in the past and gotta say, going the full custom route can be a real time-suck. Have you considered using a framework like Laravel or CodeIgniter to speed up development? Still a lot of customization options, but saves time in the long run."

"Lovely thread, OP! I've been working on a similar project and I gotta say, the 'dash of magic' is definitely some no-code tools. Has anyone else had success with using platforms like Adalo or Bubble for building web apps?"
