Title: Building a Scalable & Secure Crypto Mining Operation on a Shoestring Budget

G'day everyone,

I'm looking to start a crypto mining operation on a super tight budget, maybe around $5k-$10k. I've done some research and it looks like I can get started with some 300W ASIC miners, but what are the most efficient ways to scale this up without breaking the bank? Has anyone here had any experience with cheap but effective mining setups?

"Hey OP, I gotta say I'm intrigued by your idea of setting up a crypto mining operation on a tight budget. Have you considered using older GPU's from gaming PCs to cut down on costs? That way you can get started with a decent setup without breaking the bank."

"Hey guys, I've managed to set up a decent mining rig on a shoestring budget by purchasing used hardware on Craigslist and eBay. Just be sure to do your research on the seller and inspect the equipment before making a purchase. Currently getting around 20-25 MH on a rig that cost me less than $1k"

"Hey guys, I've had some experience with building a mining rig on a budget. I started by scrounging up old CPU and GPU cards, then built a frame and power supply on the cheap. Ended up with a 2-3 GH/s rig for under $1k, which was a steal if you ask me."
