Hey fellow cryptos, let's talk about building a decentralized KYC directory on blockchain. From what I understand, the main goal is to prevent KYC duplication and make onboarding process smoother for users, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to achieve a 100% decentralization while still maintaining user trust. What are the biggest hurdles we're gonna face in building such a system?

"Yooo, KYC on blockchain sounds like a dream come true. But honestly, I think the biggest challenge will be getting governments to actually adopt and trust a decentralized system - power dynamics are gonna play a huge role here."

"KYC is one of the biggest hurdles to adoption in crypto. From storage and accessibility to regulatory compliance, it's a complex issue. Has anyone considered using a token-based access system to make it more decentralized?"

"Idk how people expect decentralized to equal 'no verification', but a blockchain-based KYC directory sounds like a good idea. The challenge's gonna be getting people to actually use it and keeping it up-to-date. Who's gonna verify the verifiers?"

"Y'all, I think one major challenge is maintaining user anonymity while still complying with AML/KYC regulations. You gotta find a balance between security and decentralization. Anyone else think that's the biggest hurdle here?"
