"Hey guys, just a heads up - I dropped my phone and busted the camera on my trusty old wallet-case (yes, it's a wallet with a phone case, weird but it works). Anyone know of any free alternative apps for mobile camera that'll do the job? Or should I just shell out the cash for a new camera?"

"Dude, for a budget-friendly option, you could try Google Camera (it's actually pretty solid). Also, Open Camera is another alternative that lets you customize a bunch of settings – might be a good fit depending on what you need it for."

"Hey OP, sorry to hear that. You could try Open Camera, it's a free and open-source camera app with some pretty sweet features. Another option is Google Camera (Gcam) mods, but be careful with those 'cause they can be a bit finicky to set up."

"Dude, I feel you. I was thinkin' of gettin' a separate camera phone, but then I saw this cheap 3D-printed phone mount with a built-in camera on eBay. Anyone tried this DIY setup?"

Lol, sorry to hear that! You can try using the camera on your phone's Google Photos app, it's usually pretty decent and can take some solid pics. I've also been experimenting with the camera on some budget Androids and it's surprisingly good.
