"Woke up to this news, totally crazy. I'm not sure if it's my gut feeling or not, but I think the hack might've happened a few days before it got discovered - saw a weird trade volume spike on some of the altcoins that were listed on that exchange. Anyone have any insights?"
"just got word from a buddy in the space, says the hack was a sophisticated social engineering attack, not a traditional wallet exploit. allegedly the hacker posed as a high roller and convinced the exchange staff to transfer the funds. any more insider info would be golden"
