"Hey fellow tech enthusiasts, I just had a crazy thought while rewatching Westworld - it's crazy how much of the show's tech predictions (e.g. AI-powered robots, brain-computer interfaces) are actually coming true. Anyone else notice how sci-fi shows like this and Black Mirror are basically predicting the future of tech? Can we start listing off some of our favorite shows that have predicted future tech giants?"

"Dude, remember that episode of Westworld where they predicted the rise of decentralized AI? And who could forget the depiction of a cryptocurrency-like system in Mr. Robot? Some of these sci-fi shows are straight up prophetic."

"Yooo, I just found the most lit example - Westworld predicted the rise of AI avatars like the ones we're seeing in VR. That show's been out for awhile now, but it's wild to see how it was right on the money. Anyone else have some sci-fi shows that predicted future tech?"
