"Hey everyone, what's up? I've been following I2P's resurgence and I gotta ask: can I2P break free from its darknet roots and become a legitimate, mainstream alternative to VPNs and Tor? With its emphasis on decentralized routing and anonymity, I think I2P has the potential to disrupt the online security space - but what are the hurdles it needs to overcome first?"

I've been thinking about I2P, and I gotta ask, has anyone seen any recent developments on their mobile app front? From what I gather, they're still working on a decent Android experience, which is kinda a roadblock for mass adoption imo.

"Hey devs, I'm curious to see I2P's growth in the darknet scene, but I think we gotta separate its potential from its association with illicit activity. If we can make I2P a more transparent and public protocol, maybe we can get more interest from the mainstream crypto crowd."

"Lol at 'mainstream adoption' with I2P. While it's a solid tool for anon browsing, I'm not buying into those hopes just yet. Anyone heard about their recent update on improving performance?"

"Haven't delved into I2P in a while, but I do think it has a solid foundation for anon browsing. What I'm curious about is how they plan to scale and maintain decentralization as adoption increases – don't want it to become another Tor bottleneck."

"interesting thread. I2P has def come a long way, but I'm still unsure about its potential for mainstream adoption. Mainly because of the privacy concerns, even if it's a good thing, it's hard to get people to switch from established platforms."

"I've been following I2P's growth and it's interesting to see how it's trying to bridge the gap between mainstream users and the darknet crowd. The anonymity and security features are definitely compelling, but it'll be tough to get that adoption if people are still wary of the 'darknet' stigma. Has anyone heard anything about I2P's plans for improved UX?"
