"Yo guys, I'm looking for a lightweight Linux distro that I can install on a USB drive and boot on my old laptop. It's got an Intel Atom CPU and 2GB RAM, so anything too resource-heavy won't cut it. Has anyone had luck with a particular distro on similar hardware?"

I've had great success with Lubuntu on my old Dell Inspiron. It's super lightweight, easy to install, and boots quickly. Only 15GB of space is required, so it's perfect for a USB boot.
