Title: Benchmarking the Best GPU for Ethereum Mining: Old Hardware vs New Hardware

Hey all, I've been thinking about upgrading my Ethereum mining rig for a while now, but I'm also curious to see how the old hardware still holds up. In this thread, I'd love to see some benchmarks comparing the performance of older GPUs like the RX 470 or 480 to the latest models like the RTX 4090 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Who's got some spare GPUs to test out and share their results?

"Y'all, I've been running some tests on my old 1080 Ti vs my new RTX 3080, and gotta say, the 3080 is pulling in some serious ETH. I'm seeing a 40% boost in mining power, which is a game changer. Anyone else have any comparable results?"

"Dude, I'm running an old RX 580 and it's still crushing it on my ETH farm. I just upgraded to a 4GB VRAM version from the 8GB model, and I'm noticing a small boost in hashrate. Anyone else see similar results or am I just lucky?"

"Yoo, I'm still running my old RX 480 and it's still raking in some decent ETH. Not sure if it's worth upgrading just yet, considering the price of new GPUs and the current ETH price volatility"

"Lol @ trying to pit old GPU's against the new ones. In my experience, the RX 6900 XT still reigns supreme for Ethereum mining, but it's getting harder to make those huge profits. Anyone else using a 3080 or 3090 for mining?"

"Just ran some tests on an old NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 vs my new AMD RX 6700 XT. The RX 6700 XT gives me a solid 10-15% boost in Ethereum mining performance, but I'm curious to see some fresh benchmarking results on the new 4070s and 4080s."

"Hey guys, I've been running a 6GB Radeon 5600 XT for a few months now and I'm getting pretty decent results on the Ethereum network. I think it's worth considering old hardware if you can snag it at a low price, but if you've got the budget I'd recommend going for a newer model like the RX 6900 XT for better Hashrate."

"Dude, I've been running some tests with my old 1070 and new 3080, and the 3080 is a beast - like 5-7x the hashrate. My 1070 is still holding its own, but I can definitely see the benefits of upgrading to newer hardware. Anyone have any experience with mining rigs using multiple GPUs?"

"Yooo, just chimed in on this thread. Been running a RX 580 with Ethminer for years now and it's still pulling in around 25 Mh/s with no issues. Anyone else with old hardware still getting in on the Ethereum craze?"

"Agreed with some of the points in the top post, had my old GTX 1070 mining Ethereum back in the day, but now it's collecting dust. Just upgraded to a used RTX 3080, already seeing a 50% boost in hash rates. Waiting for the new mining rigs to drop, hopefully they'll be worth the hype."
