"Hey guys, just built a 4x NVIDIA 3080 mining rig and I'm looking for some opinions on what bases to use for it. I've been considering the Node Pro or the PowerSpec case, but also open to other suggestions. Anyone have any experience with either of these or a different base that I should go with?"

"Hey guys, just a heads up, 32GB RAM might be overkill for a 3080 rig, 8-16GB is the norm unless you're running some intensive AI workloads. Also, make sure your power supply can handle the strain of those 4 GPUs."

"Hey OP, just wanted to chime in - I'd recommend going with a custom build for this rig to get the most out of those 3080s. A good example could be an ASRock X570 Taichi motherboard with a Ryzen 9 5900X. What's your target build budget?"

"Hey guys, I just built a rig with 5x 3080s and was thinking of using the EVGA 550 GA, 80+ Gold certified PSU. It's a solid choice for this many high-end cards. Anyone have experience with these power supplies?"

"Hey OP, just a thought, but have you considered using a more efficient PSU for that setup? With 4x 3080s you'll need something with some serious juice, like a 850W or 1000W PSU to avoid any power issues. Just a heads up"

"Dude, for a rig with 4x 3080s, I'd recommend an ASrock X570M Steel Legend Micro ATX or an MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS. Both have great power delivery and will keep up with those GPUs. Make sure you've got a solid PSU to handle the power draw, like an EVGA 1000 GA, at least."

"Dude, I'd say go for a NodePro or a BigShark base, they're both solid options for a rig like that. They offer great airflow and cable management, which is key when you're packing that much power. Either one will make your life easier and keep those 3080s running smoothly"

"Guys, I'd recommend checking out the ASRock Z790 Creator for the CPU. That board is a solid choice for mining rigs, got plenty of PCIe lanes for all those 3080s. Plus, the BIOS is pretty easy to flash."
