Hey fellow traders, I'm excited to share my DIY script for automating crypto trading strategies. I've been experimenting with Python and Zipline to create a customized backtesting framework that outperforms manual trading. If you're tired of missing out on market movements, let's dive into the world of automated trading together

"Hey OP, just wanted to mention that you might want to consider including some risk management strategies in the script, like stop losses and position sizing. That way, users can avoid blowing their accounts and stick to their trading plans. Thanks for sharing the code, btw!"

"Love the enthusiasm in this thread, but gotta say, writing your own script for auto-trading can be a recipe for disaster unless you're an expert dev. Has anyone thought about using established services like TradingView or CryptoHopper instead?"

"Hey guys, I've been experimenting with some of these DIY scripts and I gotta say, it's still a lot to learn. Has anyone tried using Python's CCXT library for automating trades? It seems like a solid starting point, but I'm struggling to find decent documentation."

"Yo, just a heads up to the OP - I've tried a few different automated scripts in the past and they can be a real time-suck if you're not careful. Have you considered using a bot like Haasonline or Pinescript for your trading strategies? Just my 2 cents, happy to share more if anyone's interested!"

"Awesome thread! I've been toying with a similar script using Python and Binance API, but I've hit some roadblocks with backtesting. Has anyone got any recommendations for reliable data feeds or libraries that can help with strategy validation?"

"Love it, I've been experimenting with some basic Python scripts for trading on Binance. Has anyone tried using TradingView's API to automate their strategies? Just wondering if it's worth the extra complexity."
