"Hey guys, been thinking a lot about this lately. We all know that alpha testing certain, let's call them 'shytcoins', can be super informative and help us gauge potential. But when do we draw the line between experimentation and throwing our money at something that's just gonna collapse?"

"Yooo, I'm all for experimentation, but when do we stop throwing good time at bad assets? I'd say if it's got a market cap under $10k and no real-world adoption, it's a dead giveaway it's just a scammy token. Let's not waste our time."

"TBH, I think we're already way past that line. Most of the crapcoins I see getting pushed nowadays are just blatant pump-and-dump schemes with no real intention of being actual assets. Let's focus on actual innovators, not just copycats with a new logo."

"Dude, I think it's all about knowing your worth and what you're getting yourself into. If you're gonna risk your capital on some experimental asset, you gotta be aware of the risks and not get too attached to the pump. Don't throw your money at a hype train just because someone's hyping it, do your research first."

"Idk, for me it's about being transparent about the risks and potential for total pump 'n dump. If devs are upfront about the experimental nature and aren't hyping unrealistic gains, I'm good with throwing some sats at it. But when they start promising moon shots, that's when I get salty."

"TBH, I'm all for experimenting with new concepts, but we gotta draw a line somewhere. I've seen some projects that are just outright scams, so it's hard to take their 'alpha testing' as anything more than snake oil sales. Anybody got some solid criteria for what makes a legit experimental asset?"
