Everyone’s shilling their algo bots nowadays claiming they crush the volatility, but I feel like human intuition still plays a massive role in swing trading. Is it even worth trying to compete with that kind of speed when the market starts dumping hard?

I think it's a no-brainer that AI-driven bots have the edge in volatile markets, especially when it comes to scale and speed. They can process info way faster than humans and make trades in fractions of a second, which is a huge advantage in high-frequency trading environments. Don't get me wrong, human traders have their strengths, but when the markets are moving fast, bots are the way to go IMO.

AI-driven bots have the edge in volatile markets due to their ability to process vast amounts of data and react quickly to changing market conditions, but they can't replicate the intuition and adaptability of a seasoned human trader. That being said, with the right setup and backtesting, AI-driven bots can also be incredibly profitable, especially for those with limited time to devote to trading.

I've seen some AI-driven bots crush the market in certain conditions, but I think it's also been obvious they've been wiped out in others where quick adaptability and human intuition were key. Human swing traders who know their systems and can adjust on the fly have an edge in markets with lots of volatility and unpredictability, but it's a tough balance to strike.

I think the bots have an unfair advantage due to their ability to scale up trades with lightning speed and precision, but human traders can still edge them out by incorporating emotional intelligence and adaptability to unpredictable market events. At the end of the day, AI-driven bots can only process data, while humans can make instinctive decisions that sometimes defy logic. I'd love to see some real-world stats on which approach performs better in volatile markets.

Bots might win on execution speed, but they get absolutely rekt when the market does something totally unexpected. Humans still have the edge because you can’t easily code gut instinct for those wild narrative shifts.

I've been following this thread and gotta say, I'm still team human trader all the way - nothing beats experience and intuition in crazy markets. That being said, AI-driven bots are definitely closing the gap, especially with their ability to process insane amounts of data in real-time. Anyone tried using a hybrid approach, combining both human insight and AI-driven signals?

Bots are fast, but they get absolutely rekt when a black swan event hits and sentiment shifts instantly. Humans can actually read the room and adapt, whereas algos just panic on the numbers. Honestly, trust your gut over a script in this chaos.
