What a wild ride 2019 was for crypto. On one hand, you had the infamous 'crypto winter' where many projects died off, but on the other, you had more mainstream adoption than ever before, with the likes of Facebook launching Libra. Was this a year of consolidation, or a stepping stone to the future?

"Lol, it's kinda both. I mean, we saw a legit crypto winter with the price tanking, but at the same time, the industry got massive mainstream attention. People were talking about crypto left and right, and we even had some legit use cases pop up."

"Dude, I'd say it was a mix of both. 2019 might've been a tough year for a lot of cryptos, but it also brought a ton of mainstream attention - lookin' at you, institutional investors . Can't have one without the other, IMO."

"Either way, I think 2019 was a game-changer for crypto. The institutional money that started flowing in was a huge deal, and I remember when Grayscale started offering their Bitcoin Trust to accredited investors. That was the moment when crypto went from a niche to a more serious investment."

Honestly, I think we saw a mix of both. The crypto winter hit some projects pretty hard, but at the same time, we saw some major players like Binance and Coinbase go mainstream and become household names. That's a positive trend in my book.

"I'd say 2019 was a bit of both, honestly. Prices plummeted and a lot of projects went under, but at the same time, we saw a ton of legitimate adoption and interest from traditional investors. It was a rough year, but I think it set the stage for the growth we're seeing now."
