Поэтому в нем не стоит писать всю возможную информацию о себе, это не резюме.

Cover letter в первую очередь должно вынудить клиента на контакт.
Так как подобных ответов ответов от фрилансеров у работодателя может быть много, ему не захочется читать большие сочинения. С другой стороны вам желательно чем-то выделиться на фоне остальных соискателей.

Поэтому не используйте стандартный отклик. Лучше, чтобы cover letter четко отражало понимание сути вопроса, а также заинтересованность в решении задачи.

I gotta say, not much help for those looking to create a cover letter for Upwork in 2018. These examples are from 6 years ago, might want to look into some more modern ones if you're posting jobs today.

I'm not fluent in Russian, but from the title, it seems like you guys are discussing some sweet cover letters for Upwork. Can't help much with translating, but I've heard Upwork can be a grind to get projects on. Has anyone had any success with Upwork or know of any good alternatives?
