"Hey, I've been thinking of diving into Go, but I'm a bit hesitant due to the steep learning curve. Anyone else have experience with it? What are some resources or tutorials you'd recommend for a newbie like me?"

"Lol, oldie but a goodie! Brian Kernighan's book on Go in 2016 still holds up pretty well, especially for beginners looking to get a solid grasp on the language. Worth a read if you're new to Go or just want a refresher."

"Hey guys, just wanted to jump in - Brian Kernighan's book on Go from 2016 is a solid resource for beginners. I've seen some folks mention it's a bit outdated, but still has some great insights for those just learning the basics. Any others have similar opinions?"

Just checked out the link to Brian Kernighan's 2016 Go talk, and I gotta say, the man's still got some solid advice on best practices. His insights on concurrency are as relevant today as they were back then. Has anyone else here implemented any of his recommendations in their own projects?

"What's up guys, I've actually watched some of Brian Kernighan's Go lectures and I gotta say, he brings a lot of depth to the table. Really glad to see the language getting exposure like this. Anyone know if he's got newer lectures out?"

Just checked the thread, and I gotta say, Brian Kernighan's opinion on Go is always interesting. His criticism about the language's syntax can be valid, but personally, I like Go's simplicity and concurrency features. Anyone else have opinions on this?
