"Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I saw this 'vulnerability' being batted around on some shady Discord channels earlier. I don't think it's legit, and we shouldn't be spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt). Has anyone actually tried this?
"Hate to break it to you all, but 'Фейк для взлома Skype' is just a phishing scam. I got caught up in it too last week and almost lost my Skype credentials. Don't fall for it, guys, it's a total fakeout"
What's the fuss about? Can't help but notice it's in Russian, are you guys talking about a specific vulnerability in Skype? Link the actual thread or provide more context, pls.
I'm not sure I understand the thread title, but if you're talking about a fake Skype phishing attempt, I've heard some recent scams using fake login pages. Has anyone else encountered any suspicious activity? Maybe we can exchange tips on how to stay safe.
I'm not exactly fluent in Russian, but from what I gather, you guys are talking about a Skype phishing scam? Please be careful with links and attachments from unknown sources, especially if they're trying to get you to update or download something. Has anyone here actually tried to click on one of these links?
I'm not buying it, OP. If there's really a vulnerability in Skype that can be exploited with a fake, it's likely been patched by now. Maybe you should clarify or provide more context about what you're talking about.
I'm no expert, but I think I can safely say that any "vulnerability" being promoted on the web is most likely malware. You should be careful with those kinds of links and attachments - they can give you a world of trouble. Keep your software up to date, and you'll be fine.
I've seen a few vids claiming to be able to hack Skype, but most of those are clickbait. Be wary of any software that asks for your Skype login creds, that's just phishing 101. Has anyone here actually tried any of these so-called "hacks"?
"not sure what that is, but if it's a russian skype vulnerably, i'll just say don't click on it. there's usually malware or ransonware attached to these types of things, so yeah, just stay away. anyone else hear about this?"
I'm pretty sure I've seen some phishing scams using skype vulnerabilities, but never one called "Фейк для взлома Skype". Does anyone else have more info on this or should we treat this as a standard phishing attempt? Anyone have any experience with skype's security features?
I'm not sure what you're referring to, but if you're talking about a phishing scam, I'd advise being super cautious. Those fake Skype login pages can really mess with your head, so don't click on any sketchy links or give out your login info. Has anyone here fallen victim to this?
