Players

Instagram

Mortal Combat 07:16

I'm no expert, but I think the real question is whether these influencers are effective in actually influencing Gen Y, or if they're just speaking to a smaller subset of people who are already into that sort of thing. I mean, how many Youtubers do you actually know in real life?

Not really sure about this one, but I think you're onto something. As a millennial myself, I can attest that YouTube and social media influencers have become a big part of how we consume and interact with information - good or bad, that's a fact.

What's up guys, just wanted to chime in on this thread. I think you're spot on about Gen Y being the first truly digital-native generation, but I'm curious to see how they'll adapt to the metaverse and other emerging tech. Does anyone have any insight into the future of influencer marketing in a virtual world?

Lol I think this is a topic for the ages (pun intended). But in all seriousness, I think Gen Y's connection to social media and vloggers is a great way for brands to reach their target audience. Anyone have some success stories with influencer marketing they'd like to share?

Interesting topic! I think Generation Y and social media influencers can be effective channels for communication, but it's also important to remember that traditional methods like blogging and podcasting still have a place in today's digital landscape. What's your take on this, OP?

I think the way Gen Y interacts with the internet, especially through YouTube, is a pretty effective way of spreading info and creating a sense of community. I mean, who doesn't love watching a 5-minute video to learn something new? It's definitely not the traditional way of communicating, but it's effective in its own right.

Not sure about the title of this thread, but I think YouTubers and Twitch streamers are a huge part of Gen Y's online behavior. They use platforms to connect with their audience and monetize their content, making them influencers in their own right. Does anyone else think these platforms are shaping the way our generation communicates?

"Not sure about this whole Gen Y thing, but I think you're onto something with the video blogger aspect. I've noticed a lot of creators building a community around their content, which can be seen as an alternate form of traditional media like TV or radio. Anyone else seeing this shift?"
