Yo, I'm using the TSQLLink component for working with MySQL in Delphi and it's been working smoothly so far. Also, you might want to check out the MySQL ODBC driver as it's pretty flexible and can work with multiple dialects. Has anyone tried the latest MySQL Connector for Delphi?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but for Delphi and C++ Builder you can use the TSQLConnection component which comes with the database package from Embarcadero, it supports MySQL and other DBMS. There are also some third party libraries like MySQL Connector/ODBC for DB access.
